Do I need a passport?

No.
Passports are not necessary for U.S Citizens living on the mainland and traveling to Puerto Rico. When there, U.S. Citizens are regarded as being in the United States.
You do, however, need a valid form of identification, such as a driver's license, a state ID, or a birth certificate.
