What are the main geographic features of Puerto Rico?

San Juan is the capital, with a population of about 340,000. It is by far the largest city. There is a mountain range, Cordillera Central, running east to west down the middle of the island. El Yunque, a large national park, is near the eastern end and Cerro de Punto, the tallest peak (at 4,390 feet) is near the western end.
Puerto Rico is an archipelago that includes over 100 small islands and cays in addition to the bigger ones of Culebra and Vieques, which are just east of the main island.
