Bomba
What is Bomba?

Bomba is a unique genre of music where the dancer sets the rhythm for the musicians rather than the other way around. It resembles a conversation between a dancer in the center and the drummers. The music can be an upbeat or more somber and spiritual. There are around 16 bomba rhythms, with plenty of variations depending on the region.
